ThinkBright Pam Johnson and I cordially invite you and guests to the 5th annual Celebrating Music Education weekend at the BPO. The BPO will perform on Saturday, April 12, 2008 at 8:00 pm featuring the Buffalo
Philharmonic Chorus with Maestro Franz conducting Wagner's Faust Overture, John Adams Harmonium and Brahms Symphony #3. This evening will honor music education in Western New York. Schools will be able to
register for a space to detail your school's music program through a display in Kleinhans Music Hall's Mary Seaton Room the evening of April 12. Use videos, board displays and students to explain your program. Share
with up to 2800 concert patrons the excitement of your school music program. Displays are encouraged to be set up on April 10 by 5 pm. Highlight any connection to the BPO. During the performance we will spotlight five
school districts on stage, selected at random. The evening will conclude with a post-concert reception in the Mary Seaton Room. Specially-priced tickets are available to educators and students for the evening.

. Also, the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra will offer an open rehearsal on Thursday, April 10 for all educators. The rehearsal will run from
7:30-10:00 pm and is open for all Music Educators, Principals and Superintendents. Come for all of the rehearsal or for only 15 minutes. The open rehearsal is a chance to see behind the scenes as the orchestra prepare
for the upcoming concert. You will also have a chance to sit down with Resident Conductor Robert Franz and Executive Director Daniel Hart before the rehearsal. All of these events on April 10 are free but reservations

Display Parameters
- Displays should promote the school's arts education programs & highlight any connections to the BPO.
- Tables will be provided by the BPO.
- Poster board display (22"x28") on easel or music stand (please bring your own).
- Limit of 2 displays per school.
- If your display requires power, please bring a self-contained source.
- Displays should be staffed by a teacher or students.
- Assembly of displays will begin at 5:30 pm and ends at 6:30pm.
- Register your display by Friday April 4, 2008.
