Community Nights 2008-2009

AT THE BUFFALO PHILHARMONIC ORCHESTRA

The Buffalo Philharmonic in partnership with the
Erie County Music Educators Association,
and the Margaret L. Wendt Foundation proudly present the
2008-2009 Community Night program.

Music Directors and Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra concert attendees join in the partnership that:

  • Involves student performing-ensemble(s)in a Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra concert experience.
  • Brings students to Kleinhans Music Hall to hear world-class music by a world-class orchestra.
  • Offers 20 Classics, Pops and Family concerts.
  • Enables communities to purchase specially priced BPO tickets.
  • Showcases ensembles in a BPO pre-concert performance in the Mary Seaton Room.
  • Enriches music programs.
  • Sends a conductor or musician to talk students in their school prior to the ensembles' performance date.
  • All Community Nights performances are 30 minutes in length and begin 45 minutes prior to the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra concert.
