French Horn
Country of Origin: Germany
Instrument Family: Brass
The French horn evolved from early hunting horns, and by the 19th-century, progressed to include valves which were used to change the pitch of the instrument. The player creates sound by “buzzing” their lips to vibrate the air column inside the instrument.
