Recording Arts Society

Recording Arts Society

Described as a musical book club, the society was established to support the recordings of the BPO by bringing together members of the community to listen, discuss and learn more about the orchestra’s recording process with their conductors and musicians.

This year, JoAnn Falletta celebrates her 20th season as Music Director. When Maestro Falletta first stepped on the stage at Kleinhans Music Hall, no one predicted that 20 years later, her name would be added to a list of Buffalo’s cultural gems. The recordings are her musical legacy and are part of a concrete strategy to build the artistry of our orchestra while gaining worldwide acclaim. For this reason, we hope that you will join the society to celebrate this historic time at the BPO.

Money raised through this group will be used solely for the purposes of our recording projects and we invite you to consider your membership fee as a complement to your annual fund gift.
