President & Executive Director

Reporting to the Board of Trustees, through the Chair, the President & Executive Director (“ED”) directs, plans, and evaluates all major activities of the BPO. The ED works closely with the Music Director (“MD”), the Vice President of Artistic and Orchestra Operations, and the Artistic Advisory Committee to ensure that the highest quality music is presented with a diverse range of programs relevant to the Orchestra’s constituents and to contemporary life. The ED works collaboratively with all internal stakeholders to ensure the future health and growth of the Orchestra. The ED is the key external representative and spokesperson of the organization to many of the major individual donors, the business community, philanthropic and community partners, media and to the government. Overall, the ED plays a critical role in elevating and sustaining the life-changing impact of the BPO. 

Education & Community Engagement Coordinator

The Education & Community Engagement Coordinator plays a vital role in connecting youth audiences to the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra. This position is responsible for coordinating our diverse portfolio of educational programs—bridging the gap between the classroom and the concert hall. The ideal candidate is a proactive relationship-builder and an organized administrator who is passionate about music education and committed to increasing accessibility to the performing arts.

Staff Accountant

The entry level Staff Accountant works within the Finance office to assist with various day-to- day operations of the Finance Department. Works with guidance from the Director of Finance on various tasks related to supporting Monthly Close, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and reconciliations for both the Buffalo Philharmonic (BPO), Kleinhans Music Hall (KMH) and 786 Delaware, LLC.

Patron Services Representative

The Patron Services Representative provides comprehensive support for ticketing and customer relationship management, ensuring exceptional service aligned with the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra’s (BPO) vision. Reporting to the Patron Services Manager, this part-time role manages ticket sales, assists patrons with inquiries, and fulfills group and corporate orders. The representative ensures positive experiences at concert events, providing operational assistance to BPO and Kleinhans Music Hall’s (KMH) staff, and maintaining accurate patron records. This is a part-time, in person role that requires weekday, weekend, and evening availability, aligning with the BPO and KMH performance and event calendar.
