The Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra announces auditions for the following positions:

Horn III
Auditions to be held in Buffalo, NY – May 26, 27, 28 & 29, 2026. -
Violin I
Auditions to be held in Buffalo, NY – June 2, 3, & 4, 2026
Employment to begin September 2026.
2026/27 Contract:
- 20 weeks @ $1644.20 minimum per week
- 20 weeks @ $1659.10 minimum per week
- Health insurance, Pension, Disability

Orchestra Personnel Manager
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Orchestra Personnel Manager to lead the coordination and management of the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra’s contract and per service musicians. This role is vital in ensuring seamless rehearsals and performances, fostering a collaborative environment, and maintaining high standards of professionalism. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a passion for the arts, and experience in managing diverse teams within theatrical or musical settings. The Personnel Manager reports to the Vice President of Artistic and Orchestra Operations.
