CANCELED: Beethoven’s Triumph

The Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra has extended its previously announced suspension of concert activity at Kleinhans Music Hall through June 13, the end of the BPO’s regular 2019-2020 season. For ticketing options, please call the BPO Box Office at (716) 885-5000 or e-mail boxoffice@bpo.org.

BPO Beethovenfest continues with four more works by the master composer. The Triple Concerto spotlights our new concertmaster Nikki Chooi, principal cellist Roman Mekinulov, and pianist Eric Huebner, University at Buffalo Professor and principal pianist of the New York Philharmonic. Beethoven’s Romance No. 2 for Violin and Orchestra features concertmaster Nikki Chooi as soloist. The energetic Overture to The Creatures of Prometheus will charm you. The fest concludes with the fervor and triumph of Symphony No. 7. JoAnn Falletta returns to the podium in this celebration.
