American soprano Hailey Clark, acclaimed by Opera News for her “warm” and “effortless” soprano and known for her dynamic interpretations, has quickly made a name for herself in Europe and North America.

In the current season, Hailey Clark gave her debut of Richard Strauss’ Vier letzte Lieder with the Bilkent Symphony Orchestra. She will return to the Palm Beach Opera as Contessa in Mozart’s Le Nozze di Figaro, followed by her debut as Magna Peccatrix in Gustav Mahler’s Symphony No. 8 with the Concertgebouworkest under the baton of Klaus Mäkelä, in addition to her appearance as Violetta Valéry with the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra and JoAnn Falletta in La traviata.

In the 2023-24 season, she gave her debut at the 2023 Bayreuth Festival as Freia in Das Rheingold, made her role debut as Nedda (Pagliacci) at Austin Opera, and made her debut at the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam as Queen of Spades in Unsuk Chin’s Alice in Wonderland with the Radio Filharmonisch Orkest, under the baton of Markus Stenz.

In previous seasons, she was a guest at the Hamburg State Opera, Stuttgart State Opera, Dresden Philharmonic, Stadttheater Gießen, Palm Beach Opera, Austin Opera, Theater Basel, Central City Opera, North Carolina Opera, Fort Worth Opera, Opera Naples (U.S.), Florida Grand Opera, Santa Fe Opera, and others. At her European debut at the Salzburg State Theater, she was awarded the Austrian Music Theater Prize in the category of “Best Female Leading Role” in 2016 for her interpretation of Alma Beers in the new production of Wuorinen‘s Brokeback Mountain.

Texas-born tenor Joseph Dennis studied at The Juilliard School in New York and has been honored with numerous awards, including the Grand Final winner of The Metropolitan Opera Laffont Competition and the top prize at the Gerda Lissner Foundation Competition.

This season, Mr. Dennis returns to the role of Pinkerton in Madama Butterfly with Austin Opera and makes his role debut as Faust in Berlioz’s La Damnation de Faust with the Santa Fe Symphony, in addition to joining the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra and JoAnn Falletta for performances of Alfredo in La traviata.

In the 2023-24 season, the tenor made his debut at Washington National Opera creating the role of Eric in the world premiere of Jeanine Tesori’s opera, Grounded. He returned to the Prague National Theatre as Wenzel Strapinski in Alexander Zemlinsky’s Kleider machen Leute. Elsewhere during the season, performances included Tamino in Die Zauberflöte and Cassio in Verdi’s Otello with Semperoper Dresden, and Almaviva in Il barbiere di Siviglia with Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz.

During the 2022-23 season at the Semperoper Dresden, he embodied the role of Ismaele in Nabucco. Important debuts followed performing as Ritter Hugo von Ringstetten in Albert Lortzing’s Undine at Oper Leipzig and at Prague National Theater. He returned to the Israeli Opera in Tel Aviv, portraying Pinkerton in Madama Butterfly.

Joseph Dennis was a member of the soloist ensemble at Semperoper Dresden for six seasons. Additional highlights include Des Grieux in the Emmy-winning production of Manon, Števa in Jenůfa at Des Moines Metro Opera, and the world premiere of Huang Ruo’s Paradise Interrupted at Spoleto Festival USA.

American baritone Troy Cook has performed in many of the world’s great opera houses, including the Metropolitan Opera House, Royal Opera House (Covent Garden), War Memorial Opera House (San Francisco Opera), La Monnaie (Brussels), and Opera Bilbao.

Troy Cook’s 2024-25 season began with his home company, Opera Philadelphia, singing the role of Paul Devon in the North American premiere of The Listeners. A champion of new music, he bows in Virginia Opera’s world premiere, Loving v. Virginia, portraying ACLU attorney Bernard Cohen. Also during the season, Cook revives Major-General Stanley in The Pirates of Penzance for Knoxville Opera, joins the American Symphony Orchestra for a concert of works by C.P.E. Bach, and sings Mahler’s Songs of a Wayfarer with the Baltimore Chamber Orchestra, in addition to his appearance as Giorgio Germont in the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra’s performances of La traviata with JoAnn Falletta.

Troy created the role of Father Palmer in the world premiere of the Pulitzer Prize-winning opera, Silent Night, by Kevin Puts and Mark Campbell with Minnesota Opera, singing further performances of the role with Utah Opera, Austin Opera, and Atlanta Opera. Other recent engagements include Sharpless in Madama Butterfly with Washington National Opera, Portland Opera, and Central City Opera, Watty Watkins in Lady be Good with Teatro San Carlo Napoli, Enrico in Lucia di Lammermoor in a new Laurent Pelly production with Opera Philadelphia, Rodrigo in Don Carlo with Washington National Opera and Opera Philadelphia, Valentin in Faust at the Macau Festival, and Ford in Falstaff with San Diego Opera.
