CANCELED: Tchaikovsky Violin Concerto

The Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra has extended its previously announced suspension of concert activity at Kleinhans Music Hall through June 13, the end of the BPO’s regular 2019-2020 season. For ticketing options, please call the BPO Box Office at (716) 885-5000 or e-mail boxoffice@bpo.org.

The BPO Classics season concludes with an homage to the great Romantics. Grammy Award-winning violinist Augustin Hadelich returns to the BPO to tackle Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky’s dramatic  and technically mesmerizing Violin Concerto; Johannes Brahms’ rich and powerful  Symphony No. 4, the final of his symphonies, presents a constantly-evolving drama; and Hector Berlioz’ Roman Carnival Overture paints a portrait of festive merriment, certain to delight audiences. JoAnn Falletta is on the podium for this stirring finale to the Classics season.

On Friday, come at 9:30 AM for complimentary coffee and doughnuts. On Saturday, come at 7 PM to hear directly from the artists in “Musically Speaking,” hosted by JoAnn Falletta.
