MiG started his career in Australia at the age of 20 in Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story. He was then chosen to join the London cast for a Royal Variety performance for Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II. Other London West End credits include Queen’s smash hit musical, We Will Rock You, Rent, Thriller Live, and Seasons of Larson.
In June 2005, while MiG was starring as Galileo Figaro in We Will Rock You, he was chosen to appear on the CBS series Rock Star: INXS, which brought him to Los Angeles, CA. Shortly after the finale, MiG and his wife packed up their life again and moved to LA, upon his securing a major record deal with music giant Universal Music Group.
His Broadway credits include Burn the Floor and Rock of Ages, which he also joined on the 1st US national tour and in the Philippines. Back in Australia, his credits include Grease, Cinderella, Aladdin, West Side Story, Rent, Fame, The Music of Andrew Lloyd Webber, and a UK and Australian tour of The Music of Queen: Rock and Symphonic Spectacular. He reprised the role of Galileo for the 10th anniversary world arena tour of We Will Rock You, and as one of the Tenors of Rock at their resident headline show in Las Vegas and on the high seas. MiG also sailed with Rock Rhapsody, as well as headlining his own one man show, MiG Rocks the Boat. MiG was also an original cast member of Handel’s Messiah Rocks: A Joyful Noise.
MiG released his self-titled debut album through Decca/Universal in 2007, and his sophomore album More Than Ever in 2011. MiG launched the global campaign, United as One, to help raise awareness and funds for the people of the Philippines affected by typhoons that continue to cause devastating floods.
Having grown up in New York, George has played in numerous bands throughout the Tri-state area since 1976. In 1981, George founded Cintron. Developing the band into one of the top live acts around, he played over 1,500 shows including appearances with Zebra, Twisted Sister, Rat Race Choir, Ritchie Blackmore, Joe Perry, Edgar and Johnny Winter, and Mountain. He released a self-titled EP in 1983.
For three years George performed guitar and vocals for Enrique Iglesias. Over the course of three world tours, he performed over 150 concerts and numerous television programs, including The Tonight Show and Dick Clark’s New Year’s Eve special. Milestones include playing Madison Square Garden and the American Music Awards.
In 1995 he was a founding member, along with Danny Miranda and Bobby Rondinelli, of Pyramid. The group is still together. In 2000 he joined the West coast tour of the Trans-Siberian Orchestra for their annual tour. George is also an accomplished studio musician, having recorded with artists including Blue Oyster Cult, Leslie West, Danger Danger, and The Good Rats.
George joined Windborne’s Music of Led Zeppelin Tour in 2004, taking a brief hiatus in 2005 to perform in Las Vegas’ Queen-based show, We Will Rock You. He has been involved in writing and recording various original projects since 2000.
Dan Clemens has been playing bass since the age of 13. A 1989 graduate of Berklee College of Music, he has performed in bands throughout the United States. In 1993 he formed Waterworks, which received the Budweiser Best Unsigned Band sponsorship for the next two years.
Clemens has also recorded radio and television jingles, along with independent music albums. He has toured with the Virginia Opera and performed with the Virginia Symphony and Chorus. His bands have opened for various musical acts including Fleetwood Mac, Little Feet, Del Amitri, The Romantics, and The Hooters. Clemens has also performed with Elliot Easton of The Cars and Robbie Krieger of The Doors.
A bass player with Windborne Music since its beginning, he has played with orchestras all over the world in cities such as Atlanta, Denver, Detroit, Toronto, Los Angeles, and Kuala Lumpur.
Powell has been a professional musician and instructor for over 15 years. A 1989 graduate of Berklee College of Music, Powell majored in songwriting with a concentration in percussion performance. Powell’s classical and orchestral resume includes performances with the Virginia Symphony and the Virginia Opera, in addition to the BPO.
As a studio musician, he has played on countless recordings including film scores, jingles, and albums for a wide range of clients. Powell can be heard on the score for the remake of Quo Vadis for Premier Pictures, playing a wide range of percussion instruments. Additionally, Powell is an instructor for all styles and all levels on drum set, as well as for music theory, sight reading, and composition.
Justin Avery was born in Traverse City, Michigan where he grew up watching music in his dad’s nightclub, Dill’s Olde Town Saloon. He was exposed to all kinds of music in the nightclub: rock, blues, R&B, jazz, etc. Along with being a club owner, his dad played guitar, sang, and put together extravagant shows. His mother was also a prolific artist and painter. Justin was brought up with music and always had an affinity for performing, writing, and recording.
Justin has performed with artists Sheila E., Katy Perry, The Emotions, Billy Ray Cyrus, Terrence Howard, Naturi Naughton, Kenna, Lea Michele, and Meat Loaf. Justin is currently an arranger for American Idol (since 2019). You can also catch him performing with symphony orchestras across the United States and Canada as the main keyboard player for Windborne Music.
