SUMMARY:Home Alone Film in Concert
DESCRIPTION:Ron Spigelman\, conductor \nSee the holiday classic in the most joyful way\, with the full film on screen while your BPO performs John Williams’ captivating score live. Kevin McAllister’s madcap defense of his home is still hilarious\, and the live orchestra adds warmth\, suspense\, and extra sparkle to every scene. It is family friendly\, perfectly timed for the season\, and ideal for starting a tradition. The laughter hits harder\, the tender moments land together\, and the music feels bigger because it is happening right in front of you. Come with kids\, friends\, or your own inner crafty 8-year-old and enjoy a night that feels like the holidays arriving in real time. \n© 1990 Twentieth Century Fox

SUMMARY:Hauntingly Halloween
DESCRIPTION:Ron Spigelman\, conductor \nOn Halloween night\, the BPO transforms Kleinhans into a world of shadow\, suspense\, and orchestral storytelling. Led by Ron Spigelman\, this hauntingly atmospheric program brings together music made for goosebumps\, from John Williams’ Jaws and Berlioz’s Symphonie fantastique to Mussorgsky’s Night on Bald Mountain and Saint-Saëns’ Danse macabre. Each work builds tension\, drama\, and dark beauty\, creating a concert experience perfectly tuned to the spirit of the night. \nWhen the final note fades\, the evening continues. Stay after the concert for our Halloween Night Dance in the Mary Seaton Room\, with a DJ\, costumes encouraged\, and the bar open late. It is the ideal way to turn a concert into a full Halloween night out\, elegant\, playful\, and shared.

SUMMARY:Coco in Concert | Live to Film
DESCRIPTION:Experience Coco in the most immersive way possible\, with the full film projected overhead while the BPO performs Michael Giacchino’s score live. The story follows Miguel\, a young boy who dreams of becoming a musician\, on a journey into the Land of the Dead that is filled with family\, memory\, and heart. What changes when the orchestra is in the room is the emotional depth. The humor lands bigger\, the tender moments feel shared\, and the music becomes a living presence. With Festival Encanto Hispano returning the same day for free events from 4:30pm – 7:30pm\, it is also a chance to make a full day of community\, culture\, and music at Kleinhans. \nPresentation licensed by Disney Concerts\n \n

DESCRIPTION:Bradley Thachuk\, conductor \nCrazy Fingers:\nRich Friedman\, guitar\, vocals\nJohnny Nichols\, guitar\, vocals\nJosh Foster\, keyboards\, vocals\nBubba Newton\, bass\nPete Lavezzoli\, drums\, vocals \nThe spirit of the Grateful Dead comes alive in a one-of-a-kind concert experience with the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra and Crazy Fingers. Featuring favorites like Sugar Magnolia\, Stella Blue\, Touch of Grey\, and Truckin’\, this concert reimagines iconic Dead songs with the power and color of a full orchestra. Deadheads\, music lovers\, and the BPO community come together for an evening that celebrates the timeless music\, communal spirit\, and freewheeling joy of one of rock’s most beloved bands. \nMake an afternoon of it with a Shakedown Street-inspired makers market before the concert.
