We are thrilled to announce the Buffalo Philharmonic’s return to sunny Florida! Our last Florida Tour in 2019 was a huge success and we are looking forward to returning this March for performances in both Sarasota and Vero Beach.
JoAnn Falletta will conduct the orchestra and welcome dynamic violinist Sandy Cameron to perform one of the most beloved of all concertos, the Mendelssohn Violin Concerto, brimming with lyrical and technically-exciting passages. Your BPO will perform Dances of Galánta, where Kodály takes his inspiration from the thrilling folk music of Hungarian Gypsy bands, and Dvořák’s dramatic and austere Seventh Symphony is fired by his Bohemian spirit. It is a program not to be missed!
Members of our BPO community have generously donated to raise necessary funds to support the tour, but we need your help too! A gift of any size will go a long way in helping us successfully bring the Buffalo Philharmonic to Florida this year.
