Performance Policies and Special Assistance
Backstage Access
Backstage access after a performance is strictly controlled. If you would like to see one of the performers, please present yourself at the stage door (on the left as you face the stage) at the end of the performance. After a 10-minute waiting period, the house manager will be notified when and if access is available.
Cameras and recording devices
Photos and video are permitted before and after performances, and during intermission. However, recording of performances is strictly prohibited, as it is not only distracting to those around you but a violation of the contracts of the musicians. Anyone caught recording or taking pictures during a concert may have their device confiscated, or even be asked to leave.
Food and Beverages
The Kleinhans Music Hall bar serves soft drinks, coffee, tea, water, beer, wine and mixed drinks before concerts and during intermission. Some packaged snacks are also available.
Food and beverages must be finished before entering the main hall.
Accessibility Assistance
Patrons requiring special assistance are urged to contact the Box Office prior to attending the concert. Accessible parking is available. Please notify the attendant upon arriving of your needs. Wheelchair-accessible seating is located on the main floor. Please note, there is no elevator to the balcony level. Hearing assistance devices are available at coat check.
Late Arrivals
Patrons arriving after the performance begins will be seated at the discretion of the house manager. Seating will not be until the first suitable break or at intermission, and late seating may not be in the purchased location.
Lost and Found
If you find someone else’s belongings while attending a concert, you may present them to any usher or staff member. All items found in the hall will be held at the coat check during the performance. Afterwards, call the Kleinhans Music Hall administrative office at (716) 883-3560 (press 7).
Medical/Security
Security staff is available at all times, and medical assistance is available whenever required. Please notify an usher or any BPO staff member.
Missed Performances
Subscribers may exchange their tickets for future performances, but there are no refunds or exchanges on single tickets. If you have purchased single tickets for a concert you are unable to attend, you may give your tickets to a friend or donate your tickets to the box office for resale.
