Amy Habib Rittling is a partner with Lippes Mathias Wexler Friedman. She serves as the Litigation Practice Group co-leader and the head of the Labor & Employment Practice Team. Ms. Habib Rittling focuses her legal practice on employment and general business law and litigation. Her employment law experience includes counseling and advising employers on all aspects of employment relationships and employment practices and policies. She also assists employers with self-audits and workplace investigations. Ms. Habib Rittling also represents employers before administrative agencies including the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the New York State Division of Human Rights, the U.S. Department of Labor, the New York State Department of Labor and other various state and local employment agencies. She frequently defends clients in legal claims involving: discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, state and federal wage and hour laws, and the Family and Medical Leave Act, and the Americans with Disabilities Act. Ms. Habib Rittling's employment law practice also includes drafting and negotiating employment and severance agreements and litigating claims involving misappropriation of trade secrets and breach of restrictive covenants.
Ms. Habib Rittling also represents and works with several family owned businesses as part of her work with our family business consulting group, Next-Gen-Advisors.
Ms. Habib Rittling resides in Eggertsville, New York with her husband and four children.
