Sheila Brown is the CEO of Vision Multi-Media and owner of WUFO 1080 AM radio. She started as an entry-level saleswoman at WUFO in 1986, moving to sales manager and then to owner of Buffalo’s oldest black-owned radio station, becoming the first African-American female radio owner in Buffalo, NY. She has also owned and operated four children’s clothing stores in the Allentown neighborhood and Central Park Plaza.
She relocated the radio station from its longtime headquarters on LaSalle Avenue in the city’s University District to a state-of-the-art facility on Broadway as part of the African-American Heritage Corridor in Buffalo that also includes the Colored Musicians Club, the Nash House and Michigan Street Baptist Church. On October 29, 2015 Sheila released her first book entitled ""29 Years of Preparation"" a guide book to making your epic dream come true.
